Dio Smart (as defined below) ("we", "us", "our" or "Dio Smart") is committed to protecting your privacy. The Dio Smart Privacy Policy (this "Policy") describes our practices regarding the privacy of personal data (as defined below) that we process through your use of our products and services.

Before you start using the Services, please read this Policy carefully which details our purposes for collecting and processing your personal data and how we use, store, share and transfer your personal data. In this Policy you will also find ways to exercise your rights to access, update, delete or protect your personal data.

You are not obligated to provide us with your personal data (as defined below). However, we may not be able to provide you with certain products and/or services if you refuse to provide such data.
If you are a child under the age of 13 (or another age provided by applicable law in your country/region of residence), please read this agreement and the "Dio Smart Children's Privacy Statement" with your legal guardian or parent and ensure that you and your guardian or parent have a clear understanding of our privacy practices.
Definitions
In this policy:
Affiliate means any company, firm or legal entity that: (1) is directly or indirectly controlled by Dio Smart or (2) directly or indirectly controls Dio Smart; or (3) together with Dio Smart, controls the same company; or (4) is, directly or indirectly, under the common control of the same company as Dio Smart. Affiliates shall include, without limitation, Dio Smart's parent companies, subsidiaries and such affiliates under common control of the same Dio Smart company
Personal data means information created, collected, recorded and/or stored, electronically or otherwise, that can be used to identify an individual or reflect an individual's activity, whether or not solely from that information , or from that information and other information we have access to. for that individual.
Sensitive personal data includes personal biometric information, data and communication content, health
information, transaction information and precise location information, etc., according to various data protection laws and regulations. When we collect sensitive personal data from you, we will generate a clear notice of your consent before we collect sensitive personal data about you.
Smart devices refer to those computing devices manufactured or manufactured by hardware manufacturers, with
human-machine interface and the ability to wirelessly transmit data over a network, including: smart home appliances, smart wearables, smart air purifiers, etc.
1. What personal data do we collect?
In order to provide you with the Services, we will ask you to provide the necessary personal data required to provide these Services. If you do not provide your personal information, we may not be able to provide you with the Services.
1) Information you voluntarily provide to us
Registered Account Data: When you register an account with us, we may collect your account name and contact details, such as your email address, phone number, username and login credentials. During your interaction with the Services, we may further collect your account nickname, country code, language preference, or time zone information.
If you authorize login to the Services with a third party account, we will receive from such third party your account information (such as portrait, nickname, region, etc.) which may be linked to your Dio Smart account for login fast. We will ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations, as well as agreements, policies or documentation agreed with this third party regarding the sharing of personal information, in processing your personal data.
Unregistered Account Details: If you do not wish to provide your account details when you start using any of the Services, you can use the Application without signing in or creating an account, namely the "Try Now" mode, and you can still use the Services certain, such as searching and browsing any feature in the application by creating a guest ID. When you use the Try Now mode, we will not collect any personal data associated with your account. The collection and use of the Personal Data collected here will be limited to: the time you access the Application, the operating system of your mobile phone and the purposes you have authorized in using the additional functions of the Application and/or smart devices. For example, if you enable location setting in Try Now mode, location data will be loaded to support the feature. Once you exit Try Now mode, we will remove your data immediately and permanently.
However, if the Services you request or purchase are based on your account, please go to the registration/login page for instructions.
Feedback: When using the feedback and suggestion features on the Services, we will collect your email address, mobile phone number and your feedback content to address your concerns and resolve device failures in a timely manner.
Information based on additional functions:
In order to provide you with more convenient and higher quality services with optimized user experiences, we may collect and use certain information if you agree to use additional functions in the Application. Please note that if you do not provide such information, you may continue to use the basic Application Services and connected Smart Devices, but some features based on these additional functions may not be available. These additional functions may include:
Additional features based on location information:
When you enable location-based features through the permission settings on your mobile device, we will collect and process your location information to enable these features, such as pairing with your Smart Devices. We may also collect information about: a) your real-time and accurate location, for example when you choose to use automation scenarios to control your Smart Devices, or b) inaccurate geolocation when using devices certain smart or Services, such as robot cleaners and weather service.
Based on your consent, when you enable the geo-fencing feature, your location information will be generated and shared with Google Maps services. Please note that Google has relevant data protection measures, which you can refer to Google's Data Processing and Security Terms for more details.
You may opt out of the collection and use of your location information by changing your mobile device settings ("My - Setting - Privacy Right Setting - Turn location information on/off"), after which we will stop collecting and using the information of your location.
Additional camera-based services:
You can use the camera to scan the code by enabling the camera permission to pair with a smart device, take video, etc. Note that even if you have agreed to enable the camera permission, we will only receive information when you are actively using the camera to scan codes, record video, etc.
You can withdraw the use of the camera permission: "My - Setting - Privacy Right Setting - Switch on/off Camera".
Additional services for accessing and uploading photos/videos based on photo albums (photo library/video library):
You can use this feature to upload your photos/photos/videos after enabling the photo album permission, in order to perform functions such as changing your avatar, reporting device usage issues by providing photo evidence, etc. . When you use the photos and other functions, we will not recognize this information; but when you report a problem using the device, we may use the photos/pictures you upload to help us find your problem.
You can opt out of using the photo album permission: "My - Setting - Privacy Right Setting - Turn on/off photo album".
Additional services related to the microphone-based service:
You can use the microphone to send voice information after enabling the microphone permission, such as shooting videos, waking up the voice assistant, etc. For these functions, we will collect your voice information to recognize your command. Note that even if you have agreed to enable the microphone permission, we will only receive audio information through the microphone when you voluntarily enable the microphone in the Application.
You can opt out of using the microphone permission: "My - Setting - Privacy Right Setting - Switch on/off Microphone".
Additional services based on storage permission (Android):
The purpose is to ensure stable operation of the application using storage permission. After you give or show permission to read/write your mobile device storage, we will access the photos, files, accident log information and other information needed from your mobile device storage to provide you functions such as information publications or registration of the accident register information at the local level.
You can opt out of using the storage permission: "My - Setting - Privacy Right Setting - Switch on/off Storage".
Additional Services based on Notification permission:
The reason we ask for your permission is to send you notifications about the use of Smart Devices or Services, especially if you have purchased security services and need an alert or message so that you can capture real-time status.
You can opt out of using the app's notifications: "My - Message Center - Setting - Switch on/off Notifications".
Additional services based on the alert window permission:
You can choose to connect a camera to the app and have the app display the camera image in real time in a separate window.
You can opt out of the use of the alert window information: "My - Setting - Privacy Right Setting - Switch on/off Alert Window".
Additional services based on Bluetooth permission:
You can enable Bluetooth functions after enabling permission, including controlling Smart Devices, getting status, discovering and configuring Smart Devices. In these functions, we will communicate with Smart Devices via Bluetooth. Please note that even if you have agreed to enable Bluetooth permission, we will use Bluetooth for communication only in these scenarios: displaying device status on the home page and dashboard of the smart device; perform device control on the home page and smart device panel; detection of Smart Devices on the home page and on the add device page, the distribution network of the smart device.
You can opt out of using Bluetooth via "My - Settings - Privacy Setting - Disable/Enable Bluetooth permission".
Additional services based on HomeKit permission (iOS):
You can enable related functions after enabling HomeKit permissions, including discovering Smart Devices, enabling Smart Device network configuration, controlling Smart Devices, and checking device status. Among these functions, we will process data with the "Home" application that comes with the iOS system through HomeKit. Note that even if you have agreed to enable HomeKit permission, we will only use it in these scenarios: on the home page, to discover HomeKit devices, HomeKit device network configuration; in "Settings - HomeKit" for HomeKit device discovery, HomeKit device network configuration.
You can withdraw the use of HomeKit permission via "My - Settings - Privacy Settings - Turn off/enable HomeKit permission".
Additional services based on HealthKit (iOS):
You can proactively enable relevant features after enabling the HealthKit permission, including statistics on weight, height, running and swimming. In these functions, we will exchange data with the health-related functionalities that come with the iOS system through HealthKit. Please note that even if you have agreed to enable HealthKit permission, we will only use it in these scenarios: when you use your health-related smart device, such as body fat scales, bracelets, watches and approval to use HealthKit, the data reported by the Smart Device will be transferred to HealthKit.
You can opt out of using the HealthKit permission via "My - Settings - Privacy Settings - Turn off/enable the HealthKit permission".
Please note that if you activate any permission, you authorize us to collect and use relevant personal information to provide you with the relevant Services. Once you deactivate any permission, we will treat it as a revocation of authorization and will no longer continue to collect personal data based on the relevant permissions and the relevant functions may be discontinued. However, your decision to disable permission will not affect the previous collection and use of information based on your previous authorization.
2) Information we collect automatically
Mobile Device Information: When you interact with our Services, to provide and maintain the normal operation of our Services, to improve and optimize our Services, and to protect the security of your account, we automatically collect mobile device information, such as .sh. mobile device model number, IP address, wireless connection information, operating system type and version, application version number, push notification identifier, log files and mobile network information. In the meantime, we will collect your software version number. To ensure the security of the operating environment or to provide services, we will collect information about the installed mobile applications and other software you use.
Usage Data: During your interaction with our websites and Services, we automatically collect usage data about visits, clicks, downloads, messages sent/received and other use of our websites and services.
Log Information: When you use the Application, to improve your user experience, system and exception logs may be uploaded, including your IP address, language preference setting, operating system version, date or time of access, in order so that we can facilitate and accurately identify problems and help you solve them in a timely manner.
Please note that it is not possible to identify a specific individual using device information or registry information alone. However, if this type of non-personal information, combined with other information, can be used to identify a specific individual, such information will be treated as personal data. Unless we have obtained your consent or unless otherwise required by data protection laws and regulations, we will aggregate or desensitize such information.
3) Information about smart devices:
When you use a smart device, we will collect some basic and pre-embedded information of the smart device and information generated during the use of the smart device.
Basic Smart Device Information: When you connect your smart devices to the Services, we may collect basic information about your smart devices such as device name, device ID, online status, activation time, firmware version, and update information .
