User feedback: When you use our services and submit service-relatedfeedback and suggestions to us, we will collect your email address, mobilephone number, feedback content (added pictures or videos), and submittedproblem logs. Additional services based on location information:
When you enable the positioning function ofyour mobile device through system authorization and use location-basedservices, we will collect and use your location information so that you can usethe Hexa TW International Trade CO., LTD. App to pair with your smart device.Reasons for obtaining location permission in "Add device" (Androidsystem only): Enter Add device and perform Bluetooth scanning based on thefunction of searching for nearby devices. At this time, we need this permissionto perform Bluetooth communication, and because your location information needsto be collected during Bluetooth scanning, you need to turn on Bluetooth andapply for positioning to add the device, otherwise your "Device Add"function will not be realized.
When you use certain of our products orservices (weather services/home management), we will collect real-time preciseor non-precise geolocation information about you based on your consent.
When you use the geo-fencing feature tocreate a scene that produces a location change, we will apply for backgroundlocation permission to obtain the location to complete the automationcapabilities you want to achieve.
You can stop us from collecting yourlocation information by turning off the location service in the system of yourmobile device.

Additional services based on camera/lens:
After enabling the camera/lens permission,you can use this function to scan the code to add the device you purchased andshoot videos. Please be aware that even if you have agreed to enablecamera/lens permissions, we will only obtain information when you actively scanthe code or use the camera/lens to take pictures. The QR code scanning functionwill collect information from the light sensor and determine whether the flashfunction needs to be displayed based on the data from the light sensor.

After enabling the photo album permission,you can use this feature to upload your photos/videos to provide proof ofreporting device usage issues. When you report a device issue, we will confirmyour issue through the photos/pictures you upload.

Additional services related to microphone-based voice technology:
After enabling microphone permission, youcan use the microphone to realize voice functions, including shooting videosand waking up the voice assistant. Please be aware thateven if you have agreed to enable microphone permissions, we will only obtainvoice information through the microphone when you actively click the microphoneicon in the App or record a video.

We apply to you for this permission inorder to ensure the stable operation of the client. Additional services based on Bluetooth technology:
After enabling Bluetooth permissions, youcan use Bluetooth functions, including device control, device statusacquisition, device discovery, and device network configuration. Pleasebe aware that even if you have agreed to enable Bluetooth permissions, we willonly use Bluetooth for communication in the following scenarios: displayingdevice status on the home page and device panel; controlling devices on thehome page and device panel; and discovering devices and configuring devicenetworks on the home page and add device page.

Additional functionality based on binding to the NotificationListener Service permission (Android only)
We apply for this permission so that afteryour smart device is connected to the App, we can monitor the App notificationbar messages and send the App messages to your mobile smart device for you tosee.

You understand and agree that theabove-mentioned additional services require you to enable access permissions toyour location information (geolocation), lens (camera), photo album (photogallery), microphone (voice), and internal and external storage in your devicein order to enable the collection and use of the information involved in thesepermissions. You can view the status of the above permissions item by item inyour device settings and decide to turn them on or off.
Please note that when you enable anypermission, it means that you authorize us to collect and use relevant personalinformation to provide you with the corresponding services. Once you close anypermission, it means that you have cancelled the authorization. We will nolonger continue to collect and use relevant personal information based on thecorresponding permission, and we will not be able to provide you with theservices corresponding to the permission. However, your decision to closepermissions will not affect the previous collection and use of informationbased on your authorization.
2. Information We Collect Automatically
Mobile device information: When you interact with our products, inorder to ensure your normal use of our services, maintain the normal operationof our services, improve and optimize our service experience, and protect thesecurity of your account, we will automatically collect mobile deviceinformation, including mobile device model, login IP address, wirelessconnection information, operating system type and version, application versionnumber, notification identifier, log files and mobile network information. Atthe same time, we will collect your software version number. To ensure thesecurity of the operating environment or to provide services, we will collectthe application installation list of the application.
Usage Information: During your interaction with our Websites andServices, we automatically collect usage information related to visits, clicks,downloads, messages sent/received, and other uses of our Websites and Services.
Log information: When you use our application, in order to improveyour user experience, system and exception logs will be uploaded for analysis,including your IP address, customary language, operating system version, accessdate or time, device ID, APP version, etc., so that we can accurately identifyproblems and help you solve problems in the process of using the service.
Please note that individual mobile deviceinformation and service log information cannot identify a specific naturalperson. If we combine this type of non-personal information with otherinformation to identify a specific natural person, or use it in combinationwith personal information, then during the period of combined use, this type ofnon-personal information will be treated as personal information. We willanonymize and de-identify this type of information unless we obtain yourauthorization or otherwise required by laws and regulations.
3. Information about smart devices
When you use a smart device, we collectinformation inherent in the smart device itself as well as informationgenerated during your use of the smart device.
Basic information of smart devices: When you use a smart deviceconnected to our products or services, we will collect basic information aboutthe smart device, including the name of the smart device, device ID, onlinestatus, activation time, firmware version and upgrade information.
Information collected during the process of connecting smartdevices: When using the HEXA APP and services, in order to facilitate deviceidentification/activation/control, data statistics and analysis, and to ensurethe security and quality of network access and service operations, we willreceive and record information about the device you use based on your specificoperations when using the product and the type of smart device you need toconnect. We will collect the following information:
1. Smart devices connected via Wi-Fi: Wi-Fiinformation (SSID, BSSID, Wi-Fi Mac address, Wi-Fi password), device Macaddress, device ID.
2. Smart devices connected via Wi-Fi afterestablishing a local connection via Bluetooth: Wi-Fi information (SSID, BSSID,Wi-Fi password), device Mac address, device Bluetooth Mac address.
3. Smart devices connected via Bluetooth:device Bluetooth Mac address, device ID.
4. Smart devices connected via Zig-bee: Macaddress and device ID of the smart device.
Information reported by smart devices: Depending on the differentsmart devices you choose to connect to our products or services, we willcollect information reported by your smart devices.
4. Self-start scenario description (Androidonly)
We use widget components to implement thefollowing functional scenarios. No business functions will be executed when theuser is not logged in. The corresponding business functions will be executedwhen the user manually triggers related operations in the logged in state.Using a widget to wake up the application process automatically by sendingbroadcasts through the system at a certain frequency is necessary to realizefunctions and services.
After you create a smart scene, when the execution conditions inthe smart scene are triggered;
When you control your smart device via the App;
When you use voice control via a voice assistant.
2. Purpose and legal basis for processing personal information
We process your information for thefollowing purposes:
Provide you with services: We process your account information,mobile device information, usage information, location information and smartdevice-related information to provide the products and services you request.The legal basis for this processing is the performance of our contract with youunder our User Agreement.
Improve our services: We process your mobile device information,usage information, location information, and smart device-related informationto ensure the functionality and security of our products, develop and improveour products and services, analyze our operational efficiency, and prevent andtrack fraud or improper use. The legal basis for this processing is theperformance of our contract with you under our User Agreement.
Non-marketing communications: We process your personal informationfor the purpose of sending you important information related to the Services,changes to terms/conditions and policies, and/or other administrativeinformation. At the same time, we will also send you notifications related tothe services you purchased, including warning services. You can check the[Message Sending] in the Hexa TW International Trade CO., LTD. App ([Me] -[Message Center] - [Settings] - [Message Sending]) to manage whether yourequire to receive such message communications. When you choose to turn offsending notifications, we will no longer send you such information. The legalbasis for this processing is the performance of our contract with you under ourUser Agreement.
Data analysis: In order to enable you to better enjoy theconvenient life brought by smart devices, we analyze
We will analyze your use of Hexa TWInternational Trade CO., LTD. services or smart devices, and the products orusage scenarios related to you so that you can better enjoy the conveniencebrought by our products. We will use the information of your bound smartdevices to recommend other smart devices that can be intelligently linked withyour bound devices (smart device recommendation service). If you do not agreeto our analysis of your data, you can go to the privacy settings of the Hexa TWInternational Trade CO., LTD. App ([My] - [Settings] - [Privacy PermissionSettings] - [Data Analysis]) to turn off your choice. The legal basis for thisprocessing is your consent.
Personalized recommendation service: We will process your accountinformation, usage information, and mobile device information to provide youwith customized services based on the type of device you use (includingrecommending and displaying product information and advertisements suitable foryou), and invite you to participate in user surveys of the products you use.This type of information is necessary for making personalized recommendationsto you. If you refuse to provide it, we will not be able to recommendpersonalized information or services to you. 7) If you disagree with the description inour Privacy Policy, we will regard that you disagree to actively provide uswith personal information and disagree to us holding and processing yourpersonal information. When you withdraw your consent orauthorization, we will no longer be able to provide you with the servicescorresponding to the withdrawn authorization. You do not have to pay any fee to exerciseyour individual rights. In accordance with the relevant requirements of thelocal data protection law, if your account service is in Taiwan, we will verifyand process your needs within 15 working days; if your account service scope isoutside Taiwan, we will respond to your needs within 30 natural days.
6. Information Security Measures
We use commercially reasonable physical,administrative, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and securityof your personal information. We provide a variety of security strategies toeffectively ensure the information security of users and devices.
When it comes to device access, we usereliable identity access authentication and authorization applications.
In terms of data communication, it supportsthe use of security algorithms and transmission encryption protocols as well ascommercial-grade information encryption transmission based on dynamic keys.
In terms of data processing, strict datafiltering and verification as well as a complete data review process areadopted.
In terms of data storage, all confidentialinformation of users will be securely encrypted for storage.

If for any reason you believe that yourinteraction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you believe thesecurity of your account has been compromised), please notify us immediately bycalling or emailing us as described below.

7. Information Retention Period
